1. Alang Fort: The Fortress of Mystery
Rising to 4,500 feet, Alang is the most massive of the three. It is heavily forested and features ancient caves and rock-cut cisterns. The climb involves traversing dense overgrowth and navigating steep rock patches.
- The Experience: Staying overnight in the ancient caves of Alang, feeling the cool mountain air while overlooking the Bhandardara backwaters.
2. Madan Fort: The Technical Titan
Madan is arguably the most challenging peak in the Sahyadri range. It is a sheer pillar of rock that requires technical rock climbing to reach the summit.

3. Kulang Fort: The Citadel of Endurance
Kulang has the highest climb from the base village. It is famous for its majestic, long flight of rock-cut stairs that seem to disappear into the clouds.
