The Hampta Pass Trek is a mesmerizing journey through the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is renowned for its diverse landscapes, ranging from lush green valleys to barren deserts, quaint villages to towering snow-clad peaks.
The trek derives its name from the Hampta village, located in the Kullu district.
Unlike many other Himalayan treks, Hampta Pass is a crossover trek, linking the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys.
The trek presents a kaleidoscope of natural wonders, including dense forests, alpine meadows, river crossings, and, of course, the high-altitude pass itself.

Chikka to Balu ka ghera (9 K.M)

Agenda is to trek from Chikka to Balu ka ghera, as the trek is spanning for 4-5 hours which can make your energies drain.
nAt the initial stage we'll be crossing few rocky river banks, in later part the dreamy snow valley's going to enlighten our mood and refuel the thrilling bar.
nAnd Camping at Balu ka Ghera no need any introduction, as it itself is an epitomic of sheer beauty.

From this point on, you will catch your first glimpse of the Dhauladhar ranges, an outlying Himalayan chain of mountains, and it is from these snowy expanses that the experience of trekking in the Himalayas begins to take hold.
nSnow-capped mountain peaks could be seen on one side of the pass, and jagged boulders and broken rocks can be seen on the opposite side.
nObserve Mother Nature's beauty, which is typically veiled by the activity of the metropolis.
n The settlement of Hampta, which lends the pass its name, will be our final halt before we start the descent to Balu ka Ghera.
nSpend the night in tents, soak in the memories of the wide vistas of the 3 days as you’re stepping into the final day of the trek on the upcoming morning

On this day we will head towards Chatru and this is the place that will offer us the most breathtaking and unforgettable views of the valleys of Lahaul and Spiti.

The Spiti and Pir Panjal Ranges will add to the grandeur and magic of the place. Chatru is the centre point for three locations namely Hampta Pass, Rohtang Pass and Spiti Valley.
